If in London this weekend why not pop down to visit Candid Arts Gallery ?. My friends and fellow students from University days have a fabulous exhibition of their work subject matters. Jane Ross, Dan Green and Amelia Sheperd have put on a great show of their work and it is definitely worth the visit! .... As you can tell from the quality of the pics we had a great time catching up :-)

Book recommendations..
The Boss of you by Lauren Bacon & Emira Mears is the book I'm reading at the moment and finding it very difficult to put down!!
I highly recommend this read to anyone thinking of running their own business. A DIY start up, marketing, financial, expanding..it is all there & brilliantly written... - I can't recommend it enough!!
A DIY Visual Guidebook for Making Business Ideas Real. Written by Lisa Sonora Beam. Artist, teacher and business woman. You can check her website & blog . This book is for artists, crafters, and creative individuals from all walks of life who desire to make a living from their creative work. ..This book is on my "wish list"...
Simple Sewing with a French Twist
I love this book although I haven't had anytime yet to try out some of the lovely projects...Beautiful photographs with comprehensive illustrations to create delightful gifts, creating fashion accessories and customizing home furniture...a great passion of mine-some but argue and call it "interesting..it will look great when is finished..." :-)

My Sunday Movie...
Hoping you all had a fabulous weekend I'm back to my regular posting of Sunday Movie. Contrary to my personal choice we decided to watch Oxford Murders. Matt had read the book and raved on about it, so I got convinced. Written by fellow Argentine, Guillermo Martinez. Set in Oxford University, a professor and a grad student work together to try and stop a potential series of murders seemingly linked by mathematical symbols. Unfortunately the movie was not as good as the book having gone straight to DVD missing the cinema showings. I personally thought the performance by Elijah Wood was pretty poor and not convincing, although John Hurt as always a great actor. I agree with the reviews , although not a film critic myself but I can't personally recommend you this one :-(

Papa Noel in the city...
Last week in London I couldn't believe to see the Christmas window displays already up and running!..Every year it amazes me how early the displays appear. It is fascinating to see the rivalry between High Street shops. Who is it going to be the first to display and have the more eye catching window display? as we all know, it is part of the stores competition. I always like to check out Fortnum & Mason, Liberty and Selfridges -the later two stock my images, I thought to mention.... :-)
Selfridges this year have got an urban feel to the display which I found very original and contemporary... I couldn't help it to snap away a few pics to share with you all, although I was one amongst many with the same thought! And- yes! definitely, they did get the eye catching concept of their brief!

My Sunday Movie...
It was the perfect Sunday to stay indoors : Beautiful Autumn colours as a backdrop view from my windows, windy with a lot of heavy rain and homemade cookies. Being a little bit homesick, I decided to watch a film I had been meaning to for a long time but somehow never managed to. Belle Epoque was shot in 1992 wich won an Oscar for the best foreign film by Spanish film director Fernando Trueba. An original storyline, beautifully shot with great Spanish humour that I was so much missing...
