If Celebrities Were an Average Joe....

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie

Danny Evans, an artist from New York has created a series of photographs using photoshop creating them as ordinary people. We see them here how they could potentially look like  if they didn't have the lifestyle that makes them as superstars with the help of personal trainers, diets, dentists,  surgery and all the help they get to look the way they do.

The images are not flattering at all but apparently the celebrities themselves are OK with the photos and even find them amusing. You can see more here

Thinking Ahead....

OK..So on Friday I posted winter images and today it is the most glorious, gorgeous and beautiful sunny day! It has uplifted my mood and I'm now thinking of summer  afternoons in the garden, travel holidays and short weekend getaways by the ocean.
I found this image through my archives that I find most inspiring and peaceful at the same time. This photo was taken on the beginning of our European road trip last summer. Now available in my Etsy shop- Soon it will also be available on my new online web shop! Watch this space!

Welcome Springtime!

My childhood upbringing was very inspirational and influenced where I am today. I was lucky that both parents were always interested in the Arts by taking us to various exhibitions and encouraged me to paint and be creative at our home in Barcelona. Since then there have been many life journeys, but no matter what the circumstances may have been some sort of creativity has been part of out lives. Today my mother lives in a lovely cottage in Dorset where she paints in her studio inspired by her garden and surroundings. Last month she opened three shops online! You can see more of these lovely prints in Etsy and Dwanda and home wares collection here...I know..she is unstoppable :-) !

Abstrcat Art

Hi to all..
It has been a long time since I've been here..time flies!
So many exciting projects going on that I can't talk about at present! But what I can tell you is about my new Etsy shop. At weekends when I find time I dedicate it to either take photos or paint abstract paintings, whatever the mood takes me...lately it has been painting, mainly due to the fact that the miserable weather hasn't been very inviting to go outdoors with the camera.
After many people commenting on my paintings and offering to buy them I thought I'd open a shop in Etsy dedicated to my Art and canvas reproductions (some of you might remember the blue painting nominated as best artwork of the week by art365.com ). You can view more here , although this is the beginning of more to come ..so watch this space !
