First signs of spring!

After months of rain it was so wonderful to finally have some days of sun this week!

Today in particular was such  a lovely sunny day here in UK that a walk by the woods beckoned ! I took my camera to see if I could spot any signs of spring and I was pleasantly surprised to see lovely colors coming through of the many buds everywhere...

Here we are with a new decade ahead and very much looking forward to spring !!

We have 50cm of snow and are kind of stuck ! It is so beautiful and never seen so much snow but the thought of seeing all the flowers blooming and sitting in the garden with a nice cold drink, book & BBQ going is very appealing at present !! ;-)

First signs of spring...

This afternoon was so beautiful and peaceful with the sun beaming through the windows and the twittering sound of the birds singing to each other...

Too much sun has its negatives also, like realizing that is time for that tedious job of cleaning the windows ;-( well I'll just have to reward myself with some fresh flowers !

Yeah !! Spring is finally here ;-)
