New Bloom

As spring blossoms where we are, I'm going to be off with my camera next week taking some more images to add to my products here. I hope the sun is shinning where you are ;-)

A bit of home decor...

Over the weekend I decided to take some photos of our home as a couple of fellow Bloggers have asked me to submit some images of my home.

Those that know me very well and have been to my home will know that I have a "passion" to collecting things, specially from flea markets and travels- basically there's no stopping me! then there's the problem with excess baggage @the airport...so we could say that every item has a story to tell ...you can see more here.

As the afternoons take longer to disappear, the air is fresher...constant twittering of the birds by my window...yes spring is on its way ;-)

Pola Monday...

I know it is Tuesday...yesterday I was in London so I didn't make it to post my new Monday posting-Pola Monday. As you can all see I'm very excited about summer being on its way ( for many reasons) ;-)

Fun Story...

Remember this story? Inspired by the project, Joanna Goddard from A cup of Jo left two disposable cameras on park benches--one in Manhattan and one in Brooklyn. When they went back to pick up the cameras they were full rolls and all had been shot! How cool is that! You can check them out here. Hyde Park-watch out!

Pola Monday...

Hi and happy Monday !...I hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was eventful to say the least including looking after what I thought was a stray cat!..a long story. The cat has gone back to his home now and we can all be at peace including our cat Pasha ! ;-)
After the last posting I got inspired by the Pola images again so I thought for fun on Mondays I'll post a Poladroid image. This two images were taken on our trip to Singapore two years ago...since then I dream of going back to that part of the world again...I just don't why I cant stop thinking of holidays !!..mmm...back to work.

Winter on its way out ?

Today has been such a lovely sunny day that it has made me very happy and productive...I'm sure it had the same effect on many today -I can't wait for spring to arrive!

A few days away...

Hi to all and I hope things have been good for you. Back now from a few days away in my beloved hometown, Barcelona. We also had the great opportunity to stay a few days in the lovely village Taradell, a few kilometres outside the city. Idyllic countryside & village strolls with lovely wood burning aroma coming from the farm fireplaces against the cold breeze and beaming sunshine with too many coffee & pastry stops are now a mere distant memory ...back to my cups of tea, Computer and yep you've guessed it - dreaming up my next holiday break !

Oscar Congrats 2 Sean Penn!

I'm so pleased that Sean Penn won an Oscar for best actor. I loved his portrayal of Harvey Milk as I mentioned in my previous post here.

My Sunday Movie...

Having been busy with xmas and Top Drawer show I haven't been able to get back into my Sunday afternoon routine of catching a movie. As some of you may know, that afternoon is sacred for me! Thankfully yesterday I managed to go to the cinema and see Milk. The true story of Harvey Milk that changed history with his courage and determination to fight for human rights. In 1977, Harvey Milk was elected to the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, becoming the first openly gay man to be voted into public office in America. He not only fought for gay rights but for senior citizens to union workers. Sadly he was assassinated in 1978 but remained a hero for all Americans...I loved this movie and has now given me a better understanding of San Francisco culture.Sean Penn absolutely brilliant acting deserves, in my opinion the Oscar that he has been nominated for! I highly recommend this movie to any of you that may be considering to see it...enjoy and happy Monday !

After a 3 months ban from for being a naughty boy, I'm soooooooo happy that Jonathan Ross is back on the radio. It will make my Saturday mornings work much better...welcome back Jonathan ! Missed Ya !

Hi to all! here I am back as promised. Well, it has been a few weeks of madness at the studio creating new designs & products followed by exhibiting at Top Drawer trade show in Earls Court , London. As always before the show there is the panic and worry that all might go very wrong but after it is all finished I look back and very glad to have been part of such a great show and having met old and new friends/ clients...soooooooooo...see you there again in September!
