Getting into xmas spirit @ home...

Last night I thought I'd take a couple of quick snapshots to let you in our Christmas home. Personally I love fairy lights, which I intend to get more off and put them all around the house to give that kind off magical and cosy feel @ home. I have read somewhere that if you spray them in gold or silver it gives a nicer lighting, I think that's what I'll be doing this wknd...I hope wherever you are you all have a lovely and magical weekend :-)

Private view, friends & wine...

If in London this weekend why not pop down to visit Candid Arts Gallery ?. My friends and fellow students from University days have a fabulous exhibition of their work subject matters. Jane Ross, Dan Green and Amelia Sheperd have put on a great show of their work and it is definitely worth the visit! .... As you can tell from the quality of the pics we had a great time catching up :-)

The Boss of you by Lauren Bacon & Emira Mears is the book I'm reading at the moment and finding it very difficult to put down!!

I highly recommend this read to anyone thinking of running their own business. A DIY start up, marketing, financial, expanding..it is all there & brilliantly written... - I can't recommend it enough!!

My Sunday Movie...

Hoping you all had a fabulous weekend I'm back to my regular posting of Sunday Movie. Contrary to my personal choice we decided to watch Oxford Murders. Matt had read the book and raved on about it, so I got convinced. Written by fellow Argentine, Guillermo Martinez. Set in Oxford University, a professor and a grad student work together to try and stop a potential series of murders seemingly linked by mathematical symbols. Unfortunately the movie was not as good as the book having gone straight to DVD missing the cinema showings. I personally thought the performance by Elijah Wood was pretty poor and not convincing, although John Hurt as always a great actor. I agree with the reviews , although not a film critic myself but I can't personally recommend you this one :-(
